Johor Bahru is een stad en gemeente in de Maleisische provincie Johor. In 2020 had Johor Bahru 1.711.191 inwoners. Johor Bahru ligt aan de Straat Johore op het zuidelijkste puntje van het schiereiland Malakka. Daarmee is het de zuidelijkste stad van het supercontinent Eurazië. Met het naburige Singapore en Batam in Indonesië vormt het de Sijori Growth Triangle, een grensoverschrijdende agglomeratie en economisch samenwerkingsverband met 9,3 miljoen inwoners. De naam van de stad wordt vaak afgekort als JB.
